Carolyn Parker received her BA in art history from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York, in 1965. Her artwork has been widely exhibited at institutions such as Gallaudet University, Washington; Albright Knox Museum, Buffalo, NY; National Society for Women Artists, New York, NY, Annual Group Show; and the Heckscher Museum of Art, Huntington, NY. She has received numerous awards, including the Berkshire Museum Collection Award; the Michael M. Engel Award, National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic; and runner-up for the Governor’s Award, State of Maryland’s 30th Anniversary. Her paintings have also been featured in a variety of publications and on the covers of magazines, including Better Homes & Gardens Decorating Guide, New York magazine, and The New Yorker.
