As the Cultural Exchange Programs Officer, Shan liaises with exchange visitors, host organizations, and other partners to ensure a positive, safe, and enriching exchange experience for all stakeholders. She is also the primary point of contact for in-country exchange visitors, and serves as an ambassador of International Arts & Artists’ mission, culture, and values. She holds a BA in Cinema Studies from Beijing Normal University, and an MPA in Public Administration with concentrations in Non-profit and Arts Management from American University.
Prior to working at IA&A, Shan worked as the Program Coordinator at DC Chinese Film Festival, and the Office Coordinator at a film studio in LA. During her free time, she likes exploring authentic restaurants in DMV area, traveling, visiting museums, and watching movies at home with her cat, Merlin.
