Joyce initially worked at International Arts & Artist 2019-20 - before the pandemic shut down international exchanges. She rejoined in 2022. Prior to coming to IA&A she worked for colleges and universities in California, the District of Columbia, and New York. Her degrees in economics come from Wellesley College and Vanderbilt University. During her studies, she participated in an internship exchange in Chile and did research in Brazil. Later, she participated in immersion programs in Spanish and Portuguese in a variety of countries. She loves to travel and has visited most of the countries in the Americas, plus several African and Asian nations. In D.C., she enjoys walking and the many cultural opportunities that D.C. affords, being a frequent visitor to the Arena Stage and the Kennedy Center.
