IA&A is a designated United States J1 trainee and intern visa sponsor and issues the signed DS-2019 form (Certificate of Eligibility) necessary to apply for the J1 trainee/intern visa. The J1 visa is required for unpaid and paid internships and training programs in the United States.

IA&A has sponsored J1 visa participants (provided the DS2019 form to participants) from more than 30 nations worldwide including Nepal, Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, Germany, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Australia.
