Sarah Klein

As the Senior Curator of Traveling Exhibitions, Dr. Sarah Klein works with museums, artists, collectors and curators to create a robust roster of traveling exhibitions at IA&A. She also conducts extensive research, contributes to exhibition publications and works on new project development. In addition to a BA in History and Spanish Language and Literature, as well as an MA in Museum Studies, she holds a PhD in History from the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK. She is an expert on visual culture and political history across the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, focusing mainly on Europe, Latin America and the US. Sarah has worked at museums all over the world including the Victoria & Albert in London and the Museo della Casa Buonarroti in Florence, Italy. She can speak four languages, makes a perfect British cup of tea and definitely wants to see pictures of your dog (cats are also permissible).
