cast bronze
10 x 9 x 7 in
Leah Poller received an associate degree in fine arts from Dade Junior College in Miami, Florida, and went on to study sculpture at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. She has exhibited throughout the United States as well as in Tokyo and Madrid. In addition to creating monumental and timeless portrait sculptures, Poller has also created works in cast bronze that make striking visual puns on the subject of the bed. Taking inspiration from Max Ernst and other art historical and literary sources, Poller fashions unique interpretations of one of humanity's most intimate and significant places.
