Dusan Otasevic was born in 1940 in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1966. He has participated in numerous exhibitions since 1963, including the Venice Biennale in 1972. In his lyrical compositions, which juxtapose such mundane objects a pliers, saws, and electric bulbs with primal elements of landscapes, Otasevic is searching for a broadened consciousness and a new order.
