Museums and Galleries
ACA Galleries (New York, NY)
Internships are available in the curatorial, public relations, marketing, and development departments. Applicants must be able to attend an in-person interview.

The Dali Museum (St. Petersburg, FL)
This large collection of Salvador Dali’s oil paintings, drawings, and sculpture offers internships in a range of departments, including museum management, development, education, finance, graphic design, video recording and editing, hospitality, social media, and marketing. The program incorporates the opportunity to study the life and work of Salvador Dali while learning about the inner workings of an art museum. The Dallas Museum of Art (Dallas, TX)
The Dallas Museum of Art offers eight nine-month paid positions in the education and curatorial divisions. McDermott Internships are available for those interested in pursuing a career in museum work. Projects require considerable responsibility and allow for the contribution of individual work. The internship lasts from September to May, and applications are accepted from January through March. Drawing Center Summer Rotational Program (New York, NY)
The Drawing Center is the only U.S. fine arts institution to focus solely on the exhibition of drawings, both historical and contemporary. Internships available in contemporary curation (the Viewing Program for emerging artists, education, and operations) or historical curation (registration, publications, development, and marketing). Florida Institute of Technology: Foosaner Art Museum (Melbourne, FL)
The Florida Institute of Technology is currently searching for a Collections Intern for the Foosaner Art Museum. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: cataloging objects, maintain collections records, participate in collections management and care and participate in exhibition installation. Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Gallery (Washington, DC)

New Britain Museum of American Art (New Britain, CT)
The first strictly American Art museum in the United States, offering internships within the areas of education, curatorial, development, and development membership. To apply, fill out the internship application available at their website.

Oklahoma City Museum of Art (Oklahoma City, OK)
The Oklahoma City Museum of Art invites applications from college students, recent graduates, and graduate students interested in participating in a museum internship. Unpaid internships are available in the Education, Film, and Curatorial departments on a full- or part-time basis. Specific duties depend upon the needs of the department. The Phillips Collection (Washington, DC)
As America’s first museum of modern art, The Phillips houses an expansive collection of Early Modern Art works by well-known artists. Internships available in research, curatorial, digital media, human resources, development, K-12 Education, marketing, music, special events, and the library. Pro Arts Gallery (Oakland, CA)
Pro Arts serves as the Bay Area region’s primary visual-arts venue by hosting annual exhibitions and special events. Their gallery offers a gallery management internship, a curatorial internship, an informational management internship and a design internship, all of which are between three and six months in duration. The San Jose Museum of Art (San Jose, CA)
Internships are offered in various areas such as communications, curatorial, development, education, exhibitions, and visitor experience. Interns have a high level of autonomy, and are expected to develop and execute special projects. All internships are unpaid, however academic credit is available. Seattle Art Museum (Seattle, WA)
The Seattle Art Museum offers internships throughout the academic year in areas of curation, education and public programs, external affairs, art sales and rentals, community programs, and artistic rights and reproduction. Please follow the link to learn more about the application process.

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum of Art (New York, NY)
The museum offers training and internships in various departments including education, photography, conservation, development, membership, and visitor services. The yearly internship calendar is divided into three cycles: spring, summer, and fall. Each internship cycle is approximately three months in duration.

Tacoma Art Museum (Tacoma, WA)

Performing Arts
Spoleto Festival USA (Charleston, SC)
The Apprentice Program is a short-term intensive and exciting opportunity to learn about the world of the performing arts and acquire hands-on experience under the guidance of professional arts administrators and technicians in producing an international arts festival. Apprentices work a minimum of 40 hours a week; long workdays and nights as well as weekends are typical. Housing, a small travel allowance, and a living stipend are provided. Guthrie Theater Internships (Minneapolis, MN)

Studio Theatre (Washington, DC)
Studio Theatre offers internships to qualified college students, graduates, and young professionals during the fall, spring, and summer. Studio’s internships provide dynamic, first-hand training on the inner workings of a regional theatre. Internships are offered in a myriad of areas including: arts management, business, communications, development, education, literary, and production. Studio’s interns work alongside industry professionals behind the scenes and in the office, developing skills for future careers in the arts. Film/Television
Silver Pictures (Santa Monica, CA)
Silver Pictures, a Santa Monica-based film and TV production company, seeks motivated interns for its development internship program. Candidates should have a passion for filmmaking and an interest in pursuing a career in film or television. Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: reading submissions, writing script coverage and providing administrative support to the office. This internship is a part time, unpaid position. Architecture
OMA (New York, NY)
The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) has openings for Architectural Interns for their office in New York. Requirements: Currently studying architecture or other relevant courses (please note that an enrollment statement from the university in which you currently study is required for this particular position); Strong graphic and design talent; Strong rendering skills and familiarity with Rhino; Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD; Excellent craft and model-making skills; Knowledge on Revit is definitely a plus; Fluency in written and spoken English (any other language is an asset. Candidates must feel confident in a complex, dynamic environment. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend. International Studio & Curatorial Program (New York, NY)
International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) is accepting applications for in all departments including Curatorial, Administration, Development & Communications, Executive, and Facilities. ISCP interns engage in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of an international not-for-profit arts organization and gain invaluable experience while being introduced to a vast network of international art professionals. Moment Magazine (Washington, DC)
Have a strong interest in Jewish politics, culture and religion? Love writing and editing? Want to learn the ins and outs of magazine production? Moment Magazine offers interns the opportunity to become a valuable part of our magazine. Interns work with various departments within the magazine, and are involved in many aspects of production, from fact-checking and researching articles to pitching stories. Administrative duties are also part of the internship; all interns may also provide assistance to all departments. Moment Magazine is looking for editorial interns, social media interns, graphic design interns, marketing/advertising interns, as well as event and programming interns. Internships are offered in the spring (January through May), summer (June through August) and fall (September through December).
