Cultural Exchange Program Fees

Please use the link above to pay your Cultural Exchange Program Fee. Paypal will add an automatic 4% fee for processing.

Required Fees

Participation Fee* – this fee depends on the duration of your program in the U.S.


3 to 6-month initial participation:  $845
7 to 12-month initial participation:  $1445
13 to 18-month initial participation: $1745

Participation fee includes:

  • DS2019 (about 2 weeks)
  • Express shipping for DS2019 (FedEx extra charge)
  • Consultation on housing and visa questions
  • Change of host request if needed (IA&A approval required)
  • Consultation for duration of applicant’s stay in the U.S.

Participation Fee is due upon receipt of invoice. Invoices are issued upon approval of online application. Payment Plans are available.

Optional Services
Please note that additional fees apply if you request extra services, such as expedited 3 business days processing, program extension, emergency travel validation, host site visit, re-issue of lost DS-2019 form etc.

3 business days Expedited Processing: $250

Program extension: $600

Host site visit: $ 150

Replacement DS2019 Form (lost or damaged) : $75

Financial Aid Now Available -Applicants with financial need should submit an outline of their budget, as well as a signed letter explaining their need for aid with their supporting documents. Email IA&A for help covering the cost of your US internship. If you find a better offer elsewhere, let us know!

How to Pay the Fee?
You can complete the payment using your credit card*,wire transfer, PayPal or a personal check.
*All credit card and PayPal payments are subject to 5% processing fee.

Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. We are unable to issue the DS-2019 form to you until all payments are completed in full.
