Cultural Exhchange Programs> ArtBridge
The ArtBridge (pol-e honari, in Persian) program was aimed at establishing relationships and networking opportunities between American and Iranian visual artists and arts professionals. The principal focus of ArtBridge was for participants to explore and contribute to the role of the arts in local communities in the U.S. and Iran.
This program consisted of a groups of five photographers from Iran, who toured art institutions for a period of 22 days in New York, NY; Washington, D.C.; and Charleston, SC. ArtBridge program was coordinated by IA&A’s staff from November 14th till December 5th, 2008.
